The Great Bay 5K | Race for a Healthy Estuary is one of the premiere and fastest 5K races in New England. It supports conservation, education, responsible recreation and research of the Great Bay & Piscataqua River Watershed and Estuary in New Hampshire and Maine. Race features top 3 male/female cash awards for running, race walking and wheelchair competition, costume awards, team competition & 5-year Age Groups from 10 to 100. The Course is USATF Certified (NH18007BK), point to point and mostly downhill with scenic views of Great Bay. If you are looking to improve your personal record (PR) for a 5K, this race is for you!

Directions
Rt. 33 in Stratham to Depot Rd. (near Stratham Hill Park). Turn onto Depot Rd (it only goes one way - east - off Rt. 33), and go to the stop sign at the bottom of the hill. Turn left (staying on Depot Rd) to the red house on the left just BEFORE the rail road tracks. That is the finish area.

To get to the start area, go back out Depot Rd. Turn right at the stop sign and go back up the hill. Turn left onto Sandy Point Rd. The start is on the right near the mailbox for 5 Sandy Point Rd a few hundred feet before it intersects with Portsmouth Ave (Rt 33).
